The Rabid Dogs - John, Kermitt, Dan, Gaz & Dog 1980

April 2005 sees the 25th anniversary of the forming of Blackburn's finest Punk band that never did a gig, the Rabid Dogs!

With the wave that brought the world punk rock appearing to fizzle out on the shore of oblivion, five Blackburn lads decided they'd better form their own band, if only to pass the time. And so, in April 1980, with only 2 acoustic guitars, & only one of us being able to get anything vaguely resembling a tune out of any instrument, we were now a band! John Pritt, Anthony Grogan (Kermitt), Danny Whalley (Dan), Gary Dixon (Gaz) & Mark Walmsley (Dog) then set about deciding who should play which instrument............................

I couldn't let an an anniversary like this go by without some sort of celebration so here we go!!!
